2010 DOST Scholarship Exam Results
Posted on | January 22, 2010 | 20 Comments
A lot of students are waiting for the 2010 DOST Scholarship Exam results. The 2010 DOST Scholarship Exam was held last NOVEMBER 15,2009. I am a DOST Scholar myself, batch 2004, and awaiting for the result is a real pain-in-the-ass. I think the 2010 DOST Exam Results is due to be released and published every 2nd or 3rd week of March.
The DOST site has not posted the result of the exams and normally, the 2010 DOST Exam Results are published on a Sunday Newspaper, so might as well grab a hold of a Sunday newspaper this coming Sundays of March 2010.
For every student who took the 2010 DOST Scholarship exam last NOVEMBER 15,2009, just keep visiting this site or bookmark this as I’ll be posting the results once it’s out. I will be posting the DOST Scholarship Exam results once it’s published.
Goodluck to all the 2010 DOST Scholarship examinees.
Earthquake in Haiti – How to Help
Posted on | January 21, 2010 | 1 Comment
Tuesday’s devastating earthquake (Jan. 12 2010) in Haiti has brought an outpouring of sympathy and support from around the world. A frightening new aftershock Wednesday (January 20, 2010) forced more earthquake survivors onto the capital’s streets to live and sent others fleeing to the countryside. Aid was only beginning reach wrecked towns and earthquake victims of Haiti.
Now is our time to make a move; make a mark. A number of organizations has given their help. Google has donated $1 million for the victims. NBA Superstar is also making a move to have the NBA All-Star Dunk Contest and proceeds will go to Haiti victims. Let us help Haiti now. Let is help our brothers and sisters in Haiti.
Here is how you can help. Below are links to three organizations that have been featured most prominently in media reports this week. They are the American Red Cross, United Way International, and Clinton Bush Haiti Fund:
If you are considering making a personal donation, multiple organizations will accept donations, but please be wary of scams which may result in personal identity theft. Please beware of unsolicited appeals, and do not give your personal or financial information to anyone who solicits contributions.
Your prayers for the people of Haiti may help too.
Valentine’s Day Ideas
Posted on | January 18, 2010 | 2 Comments
A little less than 3 weeks from now will be Valentine’s day. Yes, February 14 is Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day or Saint Valentine’s Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world.
I know by now you are already looking for the most romantic thing to do on Valentine’s Day. Well, me and my girlfriend are going to spend Valentine’s day on a Camiguin-Cagayan de Oro stay. Oh yes, that will be a very romantic Valentine’s Day for me and my girlfriend. How about you?
Now I am pretty sure you are asking, what to do on Valentine’s day and what to give on Valentine’s day. What Valentine’s day gifts are you planning to buy as a valentines present for your girlfriend/boyfriend? Valentines day roses would be a great valentines day gift idea. Valentine cards, Valentines day cards and Valentines day ecards, with mushy valentine qoutes written all over it will be a good idea too.
Well, another option for you to have a very sweet Valentine’s day is to sing Valentine songs with valentine lyrics to your loved one. The last but not the least thing to do or to give on Valentine’s day is a classic. This is the sweetest thing to give on Valentines. Give your loved one valentines day chocolates. That sure is sweet, literally.
I know you will be thanking me later by giving you Valentines day ideas, classic yet effective, to have a sweet and romantic Valentine’s day.

Mark McGwire Admits Steroid Use; DUH?!
Posted on | January 12, 2010 | No Comments
Mark McGwire finally admitted the obvious Monday. Mark McGwire admitted he used steroids when he broke baseball’s home run record in 1998 as a St. Louis Cardinal. McGwire says in a statement sent to The Associated Press on Monday that he used steroids on and off for nearly a decade and he apologizes for his actions. He says:
“I wish I had never touched steroids. It was foolish and it was a mistake. I truly apologize. Looking back, I wish I had never played during the steroid era.”
I am not a baseball fan and have not seen Mark McGwire play, but by just looking at Mark McGwire’s face, right away you can smell JUICE! ^_^
