Just less than 18 days from now, it will be Valentine’s day. [/me puking . LOL!]

I’m not gonna be on a “date” that day as I will be at work [even if I had the chance to, I will still not go on a date, Im BROKE!]

Anyways, I just visited Jay’s blog and he has this Valentine’s day project. I’m planning to join this.

Well, Save Ferris is one of my “favorito” girl-fronted band not just because Monique Powell is hot [well that could be one of the major reasons.. LOL!].

The band formed in 1995 after the dissolution of a number of Southern California third-wave ska bands. Los Pantelones members Brian Mashburn (guitar/vocals), Bill Uechi (bass), Eric Zamora (saxophone), and José Castellaños (trumpet) joined with Larry vocalist Monique Powell, Nuckle Brothers trombonist Brian “T-Bone Willy” Williams, and drummer Marc Harismendy to form Save Ferris, whose name was taken from the John Hughes film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Let Me In was part of the 12-track Modified album release October 19, 1999 under Epic Records. I think this is the last album that the group released before the breakup in 2002.

The overly-romantic-love-martyr could really relate to this song. As part of the song goes:

Hoodie-EMO connection

This is like the last topic that I would wanna rant about, but yeah, here I am starting to write about this.

I will not dig into the slit-my-wrist thing or what not. I’ll talk about what happened last Saturday night.

This was what happened:

I was in Asilo [somewhere in Gorordo, Cebu], with my “girl”-friend as I was his chaperon. I was wearing my new VANS TNT II shoes [ i’ll type it again, NEW!], shorts and a hoodie. I’m not sure if it was the hoodie [im sure it was not my hairdo cause I don’t look like one].

A group riding a vanette [a smal van… lol] passed by us and suddenly shouted…

“FUCK YOU EMO!”

I was like, “WHAT?!”, “ME?!” , “EMO!?” lol . I was pretty sure that it was not intended to the man beside me [ though his haircut looked funny.. lol].

Is wearing a hoodie now a qualification of being EMO? or were they just being pathetic-im-so-cool-coz-i-shouted-fuck-you-to-an-emo?

Either way.. I so love my hoodie still.. and I ain’t emo.. lol..I’M A RUDEBOI!

Done with that.. but I’m still nostalgic about it.. :)

Koro

If you’ll try to use any Search Engine [Google perhaps] and search for Koro’s meaning, you’ll get this..

Koro is a psychological disorder characterized by delusions of penis shrinkage and retraction into the body, accompanied by panic and fear of dying.

And that, I should say, is a creepy meaning and I am not talking about that.

Im talking about KORO, by far one of the best “Patriotic-Socio-Political” song that I’ve heard. The song is performed by GREYHOUNDZ and collaborated with Francis M [one of my favorites], Gloc 9 and Otso Queso. So that will sum up to a Politically-Crunchy-Angst-Inspired-Rhyme.
