Hoodie-EMO connection

This is like the last topic that I would wanna rant about, but yeah, here I am starting to write about this.

I will not dig into the slit-my-wrist thing or what not. I’ll talk about what happened last Saturday night.

This was what happened:

I was in Asilo [somewhere in Gorordo, Cebu], with my “girl”-friend as I was his chaperon. I was wearing my new VANS TNT II shoes [ i'll type it again, NEW!], shorts and a hoodie. I’m not sure if it was the hoodie [im sure it was not my hairdo cause I don't look like one].

A group riding a vanette [a smal van... lol] passed by us and suddenly shouted…

“FUCK YOU EMO!”

I was like, “WHAT?!”, “ME?!” , “EMO!?” lol . I was pretty sure that it was not intended to the man beside me [ though his haircut looked funny.. lol].

Is wearing a hoodie now a qualification of being EMO? or were they just being pathetic-im-so-cool-coz-i-shouted-fuck-you-to-an-emo?

Either way.. I so love my hoodie still.. and I ain’t emo.. lol..I’M A RUDEBOI!

Done with that.. but I’m still nostalgic about it..

I agree with your post. Which is not something I will usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make one think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!
