What the fuss! There is an current email thread spreading through the that on July 18, 2008, the Philippines will get 8.1 earthquake, thousands of people will die. This is a prediction made by Mr. Juseleeno Nobulega DaRoose.

Juseleeno Nobulega DaRoose is Brazilian, born in 1960, 47 years old now, his occupation is a teacher, he is a normal citizen, having a very poor life with his wife and kids. All the events which Mr. Juselleno predicted had clear indication of the year, month date of the disasters, incase any third party wants to confirm the facticity of his prophesy, Mr. Juselleno always put the story which he predicted to the notarization office or post office for the approval.

WTF! It’s kind of creepy to think about this prediction. I am not even sure if this is a “legit prediction” if ever such term exists. Many have claimed that Mr. Juselleno’s predictions have come true. Some of his predictions were, the assasination of Princss Diana, the World Trade Center Terror Attack and the Sumatra Indonesia Earthquake. For 2008, his predictions did include the Philippines claiming that an 8.1 earthquake claiming that thousands of people will die. SCARY! Here’s a list of his predictions for 2008:

- Will find the medicine for AIDS and Dengue
- 18th July, Philippine will get 8.1 earthquake, thousands people will die
- The Empire State Building New York will get terror attack in September.
- 13th of September, China will get 9.1 earthquake in Nanning and Hainan, at the same time will get 30 meters Tsunami, millions people will die, the tsunami may go to Japan Directly.

Argggh! Hoax or not?

    also found his website (in Brazil with english translation) but found no predictions of this 8.1 magnitude quake happening in the philippines this july or even throughout the year 2008.

    i remember i few years back may ganyan ding kumalat sa text and emails. a certain nun predicted an earthquake, di naman nangyari.

    there’s no harm in believing pips, take for example Noah in Noah’s Ark, if you read bible, you knew that back then the people didn’t believed his prophecy, that a great flood will occur, i think the best thing to do is pray, and try to be a better person (as much as we can….)GOD BLESS US ALL!!!

    @isabel - yes may harm pag naniwala ka, magmumkha kang tanga. And don’t compare this to what happened to Noah and the great flood. Noah didn’t get his info from a stupid forwarded email, he got it from a Single and Reliable Source.

    Hoax talaga ito. Always treat forwarded emails with skepticism and verify if the claims are indeed true. Remember the ART BELL HOAX? Lumabas ito sa Inquirer kasi hindi nila vinerify ang sinulat ni Patricia Evangelista.

    Ang masama kasi sa ating mga Pinoy, mabilis tayong mag react. Kagaya ng nangyari ngayon, binigyan na kayo ni Chris ng idea na hanapin yung list ng hula for 2008, and yet nagtatatalak kagad kayo. Enjoy ba kayong takutin sarili ninyo? If that’s the case, sige enjoy scaring yourselves.

    The man from brazil is Mr Jucelino Nobrega Da Luz and not Juseeleno Nobrega Daroose. He never mentioned July 18 or the Philippines in any of his predictions. He might be famous in predicting world disasters like Nostradamus but the funny thing is he mentioned in one of his predictions that only 14 cities will survive and 7 of those surviving are cities from brazil when the world will be near its end. Well? What do you think. Anyway, as Christians, God mentioned that it will come all of a sudden without us knowing, so what is this things about predictions from them?

    I am Filipino living in US. I never heard about this stupid asshole who predicted shits. If it is true, I should know about it. It will be rumor right now in US. But I didn’t. Nobody can predict the earthquake. Don’t believe this stupid idiot. I think his got a problem of his brain. He might have a brain damaged.
