At UFC 100, Brock Lesnar destroyed Frank Mir, with a stellar performance, which helped him avenge his 1st loss to Mir in his UFC debut. Brock Lesnar proved to the world the he is a legitimate UFC Heavyweight champion by beating the UFC Interim Heavyweight champion Frank Mir. But what could have been a good performance was shadowed by circus antics from Brock Lesnar.

His stellar performance during the night was unfortunately shadowed by his post-game circus antics which showcased Lesnar flashing the middle finger to the fans, shouting on a dizzy Frank Mir and to top it all off, bashing on one of the major sponsors of the event, Budd Light. The next UFC bad boy?The antics as described by UFC President Dana White as “Straight WWE”. Indeed it was and that’s not the image Dana wants for new audiences of the mainstream market to think of about the UFC, as “the next WWE”, with big paychecks and drama. Brock Lesnar did take back his actions during the post-fight interview saying, “I’m used to selling pay-per-view tickets. I come from a business that is purely the entertainment business.” As far as I know, Bobby Lashley is also a WWE veteran but he has not shown such circus antics as Brock Lesnar did.
It remains to be seen how these antics would affect the UFC’s mainstream appeal. It could repulse some, it could also draw some, and it remains to be seen how far Brock Lesnar will go as a UFC Heavyweight champion.
