November 14, 2009 is drawing near and most boxing aficionados are definitely excited. November 14, 2009 is Firepower: Manny Pacquiao VS Miguel Cotto. The clash between Pound-for-pound #1 Manny Pacquiao and WBO Welterweight Champion Miguel Cotto is drawing near and pretty much excited because I am a Pacquiao fan and a long-time Miguel Cotto fan.

I have made a preview on this fight on my “Manny Pacquiao’s Next Opponent” series post. I am standing by my prediction that this is going to go 12 rounds and the W goes to Pacquiao by Split Decision. Pacquiao knows how dangerous Cotto is with his huge frame, strength and power. That alone will make Pacquiao cautious enough that he will not be engaging much on Cotto. While Cotto will be going for head and body shots, Pacquiao will be going in and out. Pacquiao will fire quick shots on Cotto while going out of danger by the time Cotto is about to unload body shots on him. Pacquiao’s speed will be a main factor

Yes Cotto is dangerous to Pacquiao if the pacman will cornered or lured in an exchange with Cotto.
Pacquiao will do what he does best, coming in and out while blasting his jab jab right and left straight in a speed of light.
