Z Gorres is in a Coma After a Win (Update)

After a ten round bantamweight fight, Filipino boxer Z Gorres won a match but is currently in coma after collapsing after the fight. In a ten round bantamweight action, Z Gorres survived a late knockdown scare to hold on to a unanimous decision victory over Luis Melendez.

Afterwards, Gorres was on shaky legs as he walked to his corner. Moments later he collapsed to the canvas. He was wheeled to the back on a stretcher and was breathing but the moment was no less scary for the fans and media watching. He was taken to University Medical Center’s trauma unit afterwards where he underwent surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

Z Gorres is in coma, currently in an induced coma, where he is expected to remain for several days.

Z GORRES is still on COMA and Z GORRES is not DEAD! To everybody spreading rumors and text messages about his condition, please be guided. Z GORRES is not dead. Please pray for Z Gorres and his family.
