Bad News Bad News!
What a way to start September. I just received a mail coming from my web host about a forthcoming invoice on my Web Hosting account. I just though it would be a small $6 bill for the additional domain I ordered on the package. So i checked my Control Panel to double check what the invoice will be all about, and what I saw shocked me. It’s my nightmare coming true. My invoice is $140 dollars for excess Bandwidth! I couldn’t believe what I saw. Before, I would just be happy reaching my monthly 1GB Bandwidth average as I have a 100GB Bandwidth limit. For August, I reached 119GB and for just 8 days past September, my September bandwith usage is 428GB. That is 400x my usual Bandwidth.
The biggest question now is, HOW WILL I PAY MY DUES! I will not be able to pay $140. There are two options that I am weighing right now, 1.) Pay the dues 2.) Not pay the dues and wait for this account to be cancelled. Which is which? I badly need this site. If anybody can offer their help I would gladly accept it. You can spare me some of your loose change by donating though the Paypal button on the right sidebar.
NOTE: I think I found the culprit on the sudden Bandwidth outburst. I think it is the Michael Phelps is Evil Gif that generated that much traffic. I’m not sure how browsers or web hosts treats GIF files. It could be they load the size per frame. Will still have to investigate that one. If the traffic doesn’t change in the next 2 days, I think I’ll be forced to take down the site for the mean time.
Again, I badly need your help, citizens and non-citizens of the blogosphere! A $1-$5 donation will be a big help. I’m on my knees begging you. PLEASE!
Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Oscar “the Golden Boy” Dela Hoya bout is ON!?
“David vs. Goliath”, this I think should be the best title for the match between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) and Oscar “the Golden Boy” Dela Hoya (39-5, 30 KOs) for the Golden Boy’s farewell match to his very illustrious career on December 6, 2008. David won against Goliath in the story, but does anybody think Pacquiao has the slightest chance against the Golden Boy? Well, I’ll assume all the PacHugs probably think that Pacquiao is going to knock out the Golden Boy.
This fight was one of the match up I personally staged in Fight Night 2 [a Playstion video game], including Arturo Gatti vs. Holyfield, Jose Luis Castillo vs. Ali and many more mismatches that I created in the Fight Night Video game. Well, that was a video game, so I could match anybody I want, I was the matchmaker in all sorts, but, Pacquiao vs, Dela Hoya on December 6? In a business standpoint, this could make sense, this could really make a lot of $en$e. Dela Hoya, the sports’ most bankable star, against the Pound-for-Pound King, or to rephrase it, the Pay-Per-View King vs. Pound-for-Pound King. But for legacy’s sake, this bout does not make sense at all! Oscar wants his last fight to be a bang, but does defeating a shorter fighter like Pacquiao cements his name in the boxing books? NOT! If Oscar wanted to go out with a bang, he should have fought Margarito, Pavlik, Calzaghe, Williams or anybody on top of the division with his size, but he chose the easy way out, challenging Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao isn’t in a bad situation here. He gets his biggest purse. If he loses, as is generally expected, he will lose no prestige whatsoever, but an upset win will send Pacquiao’s earning power and all-time status soaring into the stratosphere. It’s a win-win situation for Pacquiao, but on Oscar’s side, he only wins money-wise. He does not prove anything if he will defeat Pacquiao.
I really don’t have any problem with the match, it’s just that, not every hardcore boxing fans want to see this fight. Every hardcore boxing fan wants to see Oscar fight and Pacquiao fight, but they don’t want to see both fighters agains each other because it’s just wrong. Another thing to point out, Mayorga, Mosley, Trinidad, Vargas and others were not able to KO Dela Hoya, if Pacquiao thinks he can KO Dela Hoya, then he must be kidding. Oscar is not David Diaz that he can outclass and knock out, maybe he can outrun and out box Dela Hoya, but he can’t KO Dela Hoya.
It remains to be seen how the fight will turn out. I am favoring Dela Hoya to win this by KO. I am a Filipino and I should support Pacquiao, but not now, I can’t be biased and tell everybody that the Pacman can KO the Golden Boy, even if there is a chance, it is just so slim. For now, let the hype begin.

Michael Phelps is EVIL!
Here’s an animated picture showing how evil Michael Phelp is. Michael PHELPS Evil! [LOL]
Michael Fred Phelps (born June 30, 1985) is an American swimmer. He is a14-time Olympic gold medalist (the most by any Olympian) and he currently holds seven world records in swimming.
Phelps holds the record for the most gold medals won at a single Olympics with the eight golds he won at the 2008 Olympic Games. With this record, he surpassed Mark Spitz, who was also a swimmer and had held the previous gold medal total with the seven that he won at the 1972 Olympic Games.

Isn’t the title too sweet? Philippine All Stars wins 2008 World Hip Hop Championship. More than 1,000 dancers from 33 countries gathered in Las Vegas in quest for the championship.
