A Call To Arms Lyrics – Urbandub

I see your face all tired & weary
From battles fought, lost & won.
You take your chances
Fuck the consequence
Dive right in with no regrets
No regrets.

THERE’S NO POINT TO KEEP YOUR HEAD FACE DOWN
WHEN ALL WE SEE AND KNOW AND FEEL IS TEMPORARY
SPREAD YOUR ARMS AND KEEP YOUR HEAD HELD HIGH
GOOD THINGS ARE BETTER TAKEN IN
THE LESS YOU NOTICE.

Witness to a city that never sleeps
Where sins are made then buried
Doesn’t matter how deep or hidden
It’s always, always there.
Hold back the tears, there’s little reprieve
If you show you are weak
You’re accepting defeat
Pick up the pieces and dust yourself off
Then banner away.

Heaven won’t wait
So don’t hold back
Don’t waste another minute
You carry all the weight
‘Coz you think you got no worth
I’ll be happy come the moment you’ve guessed it all.
This is your call to arms
So take in all you desire
Heaven won’t wait so don’t hold back
Now take it all

I have been a longtime Panic at The Disco fan, but I failed to download (again illegally) their latest album after it was release in 2007. I have been listening the to the new album, Pretty. Odd., for the past 3 months and by listening to the album, you can really differentiate from the first album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.

Pretty. Odd. is the second studio album by the band Panic at the Disco, released on the record label Fueled by Ramen. The first single from the album is “Nine in the Afternoon”. The second single released as a digital single was “Mad as Rabbits” (released as a digital single on iTunes), although this was not really a radio single, a video was made (clips of the filming of “That Green Gentleman” were used). The third single is “That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed)”. The fourth single is “Northern Downpour.”

This album, was a departure from the sound created by the album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. The “dark-sinful” tone the first album set was replaced with a “good-day-circus” feel of this new album. When you’re listening to the tracks, you feel like you are at a park, balloons and ice creams on hand unlike the “dark” theme the first album set.

Another notable thing about this new album are the song titles. The song titles on this album are now contained in the lyrics, unlike the first album where majority of the song titles where influenced by books and movies. I don’t want to make a biased verdict but this album is really worth every penny you spend, well in my case, worth every minute I spent waiting for the download to finish.

I never imagined myself bidding farewell at work, not that I had no plans in moving on, but because I have always felt disgusted with “goodbyes”. Then again, I have to bid farewell to everybody I’ve come to know in the office. Today is the last day of 2008 and this is also my last day at work. **sobs**

After 2 years, 7 months and 2 days at work, I now have to move on. Looking back 2 years ago, I started work as a skinny 18-year old College Undergraduate who had nothing else to boast but knowledge on HTML and Turbo C and a 3rd Place Programmer of the Year on my resume, yet I made it. I was the man-child because nobody believed I was 18 years young until I have shown them my ID, paid them 50 pesos each and gave them a shot of metamphetamine! HAHAHAHA. 2 years, 3 teams, 2 positions, a lot of friends. That will be worth smiling at in the years to come. I’ll cherish every good and bad memories here and I’ll stare at every memos I’ve received during my tenure, LOL! Everything that I have done and I have learned here will always be remembered. ***/me grabs excalibur and slits wrists with it ^_^ ***

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Now, back to work and making money online (I’ll be needing this in the days to come as residual income while I try to update my resume and look for a new job!)

So let’s cut all the crap and start on with the show. I did the intro part “dMusicBox | blaring through your monitors and speakers” voice over and I need every comment on how I can improve the voice over. It was recorded using the default Windows Sound Recorder (yup! I’m on windows) and edited using Virtual DJ 5.2 Pro.

For this first episode, the tracks and artists featured are as follows:

Selector – Skindred

Phoebe Cates – FenixTX

Stupid Kid – Alkaline Trio

No It Isn’t – Plus 44

Shinobi Vs. Dragon Ninja – The Lostprophets

I know this like a month old news, but that does not stop me from writing about it as I grew up listening to the master rapper. As I was searching through old collection of cassette tapes that I had when I was kid, I found my “The Best of Francis M” Vol. 27 cassette tape. I think my mother brought this when I was still Grade 1, so that’s year 1993. I think i lost the other cassette tapes part of this collection.

Here are the pictures of the cassette tape, Side A (LOL):

The son of local matinee idol Pancho Magalona and actress Tita Duran, Francis created his own mark in the entertainment industry as a rapper-performer when he released his debut album, Yo! back in 1990. The said record spawned the massive nationalistic rap hit song “Mga Kababayan,” which in effect introduced Pinoy style rap music in the mainstream.

The ‘90s band explosion failed to deter Francis’s popularity and significance in the music scene as proven by the number of hit albums and good singles he churned out since Yo! He even collaborated with other artists and most of the time experimented with various sounds and genres so as not to remain stale before the listening public >>>.

Get well soon, MASTER RAPPER!

I have just downloaded the Punk Goes Crunk Album (again, illegally) and I have been listening to it for the past days. For everybody’s sake, Punk Goes Crunk is the latest album from Fearless Records that is part of the Punk Goes album series. You’ve been begging to hear hip-hop/r&b songs to be covered by some punk bands, here’s what Fearless Records have to offer you. Here is the track list of the album.

1. Put Yo Hood Up (Lil John) – Set Your Goals
2. Got Your Money (Ol’ Dirty Bastard) – Say Anything
3. I Wish (Skee-Lo) – The Secret Handshake
4. Men in Black (Will Smith) – Forever the Sickest Kids
5. California Love (2PAC) – My American Heart
6. I Wanna Love You (Akon) – The Maine
7. Kryptonite (Purple Ribbon All-Stars) – Emanuel
8. The Seed (The Roots) – Person L
9. Still Fly (Big Tymers) -The Devil Wears Prada
10. Umbrella (Rihanna) – All Time Low
11. Notorious Thugs (Notorious BIG) – Scary Kids Scaring Kids
12. Nothin’ But A “G” Thang (Dr. Dre) – The Escape Frame
13. Gin and Juice (Snoop Dogg) – Hot Rod Circuit
14. Hey Ya! (OutKast) – Lorene Drive
15. Tennessee (Arrested Development) – New Found Glory

I have not really had the chance to listen to all the tracks, specially tracks 12,13,14 and 15, cause I’m always tempted to switch my playlist to Skindred. I would give The Maine’s version of Akon’s song two thumbs up and 4 thumbs up to The Secret Handshake’s version of I Wish. One notable thing about the album though is that most of the bands featured could either be considered Powerpop/Pop Punk. One last thing, I honestly think that Vanilla Sky’s version of Umbrella(plus a kickass video) is far better that All Time Low’s version. Though they had different approach on how to cover the song, I still think that Vanilla Sky gave the “Punk” side to it, while All Time Low’s versions was “Powerpop”. Whether or not you are a punk fan (or a part of the herd of girls screaming their lungs out if they see every band’s “cute” member), the album is still worth wasting time listening to and do yourself a favor, grab a copy of it, illegally or legally.

I wonder what the next Punk Goes album will be. Punk Goes Bob perhaps? xD

It’s July 19 and the earthquake prediction slated for July 18 did not come true (as if I was surprised). It’s good news as we will still be able to witness a rumored reunion concert by one of the Philippines’ best band. The Eraserheads Reunion Concert is said to be slated on August 30, 2008 at the CCP Open Grounds. Though GMANews has indeed confirmed that the reunion will indeed happen on the said date and place.

The band composed of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan will play full 45 minutes on August 30. For those E-heads fans who have been clamoring for the band to reunite after they disbanded on 2002 should not let this opportunity pass. I for one is an E-heads fan and I would love to watch this event only if it will be staged in Cebu.

The reunion concert rumor has been going on for a long time ever since the band disbanded in 2002. Some sources have claimed that the reunion is happening because a big amount is involved (an estimated P2.5 million to P10 million apiece) for them to play 1 45-minute set, though Ely (the band’s front man) claimed that the reunion was pressed to the undying clamor and support by the fans and not because of the money.

It remains to be seen though if the band will be reuniting for good. They have had sold-put tribute albums and concerts and fans clamoring for their reunion, and if they will indeed reunite for good, expect the following of old and new Eraserheads fans just hibernating somewhere listening to old tracks of the band.

For the betterment of everybody, here’s a wiki link describing who The EraserHeads are.

Again, I was just doing my usual round on the blogosphere when I stumbled on an article by the Rolling Stone, “Kurt Cobain’s Ashes Stolen from Courtney Love’s L.A. Home”. WTF! Whoever stole Cobain’s ashes must have been sick. Some people think that this is part of Courtney Love’s gimmicks and added that Love stole the ashes herself and sold it, which I think is pathetic but I don’t personally believe that she’s part of this. Here’s the full article from the Rolling Stone site:

The remainder of Kurt Cobain’s ashes have been stolen from Courtney Love. Love was storing the ashes in a pink bear-shaped handbag that was hidden in the wardrobe closet of her Hollywood home and believes the bag was taken by a former friend. “I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I’m suicidal,” Love said. The majority of Cobain’s ashes were spread at a New York Buddhist temple and in Washington’s Wishkah River, but Love said she kept a small amount (as well as a lock of his hair) for herself. This isn’t the first time Love has had something of her husband stolen: In March, Love alleged that thieves used Cobain’s social security number to steal several million dollars from his estate. In both cases, Love believes she knows who is responsible for the theft

Hmmmmmmmm I wonder if the ashes will be sold in EBAY next week. Let’s just wait and see. xD

It’s a boring day. I was just doing my usual bloghops when i found this very interesting music download site, MusicMP3.ru . I got a hold of a username and password for an account in the site with a $2 fund for me to use and test the site [don't ask me where i got it.. xD].

Eventhough the TLD is .ru [MusicMP3.ru], which is a TLD in Russia, the site is in English, that makes it easier for us to understand the texts in the site, thus, navigating, searching and downloading will be much easier.

In the Home page of the site contains lots of information which might help you get started:
- the search box at the top part which you can categorize your search by artists, by album, by songs or per reviews
- left sidebar contains the 20 Most Popular Artists
- center pane contains Music News and Album Reviews
- Right sidebar contains the “Combined Hit-List”

You will also get the chance to know each artists better as they have their own Biography page beside their album lists, though not all artists have a Bio page up. One thing I noticed about the site is their prices. Indeed its dirt cheap! A minute or less track could cost a measly $0.08 and a full track could cost just $0.15. Also, purchasing the whole album could even cost you less as you will have a 10% discount. Imagine buying a 10-track album of your favorite boy band or rock band, thats 10 tracks X $0.15 minus the 10% discount if you decide to buy the whole album, that’s just $1.35! Filling up you car with 2liter gasoline would even cost more than this. Instead of the huge fees you have to pay for regular MP3 download sites, this site thus bring great quality for a fraction of the price.

Also, before purchasing the songs, you can pre-listen to each track that you want to buy. That will give justice to every penny that you will spend as you will only buy those tracks that you’ll like.

NOTE: you can add funds by using you Visa Card, E-Gold, PaySafeCard or Ukash.

Once you hear these lyrics, you stop and take heed. Dicta License [Literally ‘Dicta License’ means ‘License to Speak’.], Dicta License is a Filipino band formed December 1999, whose music is a fusion of rock, rap, and grunge. This all-Atenean band consists of Pochoy Labog on vocals, Bryan Makasiar on drums, Kelley Mangahas on bass, and Boogie Romero on guitars. Mangahas and Romero are also part of another band, Kjwan.

Socio-politically inspired, philisophically-driven and Philippine-centered that’s how I and everybody else would define Dicta’s music and lyrics. Somewhat reminiscent to Rage Against The Machine fronted by Zach Dela Rocha though Pochoy doesn’t have tattoos and dreads. Everytime they perform, just listen to every letters Pochoy speaks and take heed, words like “What the fuck is position? the position you gain who the fuck is to blame? Now you all turn aktibista, for a leader-another agenda to gain, that political power, disrupting the national order, The Left and the Right are circling above and breaking the peace”

I’ve always been a big supporter of Dicta License but never really got the chance to see them perform live. Hearing their songs listening and reading every lyric just pierces through the subconcious, what if’s and what not’s. It’s philosiphical and politically-driven but not as fiesty as RATM but still as effective as every RATM song. It’s just sad to hear that they broke up last year. Dicta License’ songs aren’t meant to be impudent, but rather dare audiences to think about bringing a change to their surroundings, positively.

Understanding Dicta License’s songs may be similar to a paradox. Though sometimes, you can’t quite get the profoundness, you still get to appreciate the song. Truly, they have the license to speak – and if anyone ignorant of their sound gets a first hand notion of what they’re made of, then I’m pretty sure such ignorance would be vanquished with the band’s arousing lyrics and moving rhythms. And it doesn’t take a second listen to know that.

I know this is a late post since the “Arnel-Pineda-Journey’s-new-vocals” news came out. I have my reasons why it took me such amount of time to write about it. First, I was not born during Journey’s era. When I heard that Arnel is the new lead vocals for Journey, I was like, “Journey? Arnel? Oh OK!” .. “What band again?!”. No offense to the Journey fans, but I’m just 20 and I was born on the oh-so-poppy-Boyband era. Second, I was not feeling any hype at all with the news because I didn’t know who Arnel was, aside from his Filipino, and I didn’t know who Journey was until I heard their songs as I could hear my father sing their tunes but was not aware that it is a song by Journey, my bad! I know their songs, I just didn’t know that Journey played them, I suck at song titles and artists’ name but that wont make me incapable of giving my “review” for this matter.

I have not seen Journey perform live with Steve Perry or any other past vocalists that they had as they played in the 80’s – 90’s and that time I was just a little kid. I saw them perform on the Tube, yeah the Tube called YouTUBE!, and Steve Perry can really sing and knock those high notes out with ease. I had to watch the video as everybody was talking about the band and the new vocals. Ok so I had to check Arnel Pineda’s videos on the Tube too and right away you can tell that Arnel Pineda has talent like no other. He can belt those Journey songs as good as Perry — even better. There were a lot of vocalists that came after Perry [and I did watch their video and listened to every note belted, there was even 1 clip their that compared all the past vocals of Journey], but no one came near what talent and charisma Steve Perry has lend America and the world. If you will search through search engine for comments about Arnel Pineda, you will find out how much talent he has and maybe, just maybe, he’ll surpass what Steve Perry has accomplished. Arnel Pineda is simply FANTASTIC [ not a bias opinion! See for yourself in the Tube ], it’s like listening to Steve Perry with a punch. XD

Racist Remarks

An Asian in a once-was-All-American Band, what do you expect? Search through the net and of course you will find an overflow of message about what talent Arnel has to offer but you cant rid the fact of a barrage of ugly remarks thrown at the Filipino. Maybe these fanatics could not accept the fact the a small-brown-Filipino guy replaced Steve Perry from the lineup. That there were a number of Americans who auditioned for the spot but did not get the call while Arnel was just picked out of the blue. Arnel has a big shoe to fill and a lot of expectations to meet and I know and most of use believe that he can do that. Here’s some sample of sour comments thrown at Arnel and the Filipinos in general. Here are some of the comments:

Its always Im so proud Im filipino! Sounds like you guys are so desperate rising out of poverty.

proud flip, law of economics tell me its more work but less pay for your hero! you think journey is stupid to pay hundsinker, soto what their worth to do the work for them? bottom line, journey went shopping in asia cos its so damn cheap!!! you did’t really go for schons line, ” i sat for hours on youtube looking for a singer on line…. ” stuff and if you did i got something here for you to buy……………..

here we go again, curly, hundsinker did not sign cos the financial contract did not meet his expectation. family issue only an excuse to buy greed out of play. and mighty schon had to downplay the whole scenario to with hold public exposure.
you need to read between the lines…you flips are so gullible and illiterate. no wonder your country is the poorest in asia. and thats the truth! you sell your own women overseas as domestic helpers but the reality of the fact is not what they do. well i guess its not all that bad considering the world need somebody to pick up the dirty work. Sooooooooo SAD……..oh well thats life!Like what your singer says in his video, “SHIT HAPPENS!!!”. HAVE YOU HAD YOUR COFFEE YET??????

Y’all still don’t get it… I say y’all are as dumb as a rock!Do I really need to spell it out to everyone concerned, word for word, what the messages mean??????OK…here it is….read my lips…. DO NOT POST THE WORD ***P-R-O-U-D*** FILIPINO WHEN YOUR OWN PEOPLE AND ESPECIALLY THE YOUNG CHILDREN ARE DYING DUE TO STARVATION!!!

Hope ya people of l’il minds understand now! Not long ago I read some published report to an article about the UN devising a plan to end worldwide starvation. The plan consist of a team of qualified professionals auditing poverty-stricken countries around the globe. As I recall this group is named, the International or Foreign Social Services Enforcement Agency, much like Interpol. They gonna do away with the donation services since all the money may not be going there 100%! Be advised and listen. I just gave y’all a heads up piece of my mind. Shape up or face the MUSIC hence y’all are so called karaoke music lovers from time to time. May be in some future date some of y’all might get lucky enough and end up in front of spotlight much like your long overdue protoge journey lovin’ singer. Thus that long and farfetched untouchable dream y’all were longing for all your life may come true when there no longer exist one last starving child in this world to feed. Last post…and good luck to all!!! BTW, I have been to and know of a Lake Placid which is nice and cool during winter season but that lake of fire you mentioned that place is reserved to the ones responsible for the suffering starving young children. Ciao!
Mr. Inspector

The comments above were from a person who claimed he was an inspector. There are far more worse comments that he gave but It will fill up the whole page if i’ll post it all up. All I can say is that this so called “MR. INSPECTOR” is SICK. If anybody knows him or if you are reading now Mr. Inspector, go get a chair, sit tight, bend a little, then go suck your own STICK! [sorry for the language readers]. Maybe this so called Mr. Inspector is a relative of an auditionee for the position or was an auditionee.. XD sourgrapes!

and there are comments who lifts some of your spirits up in response to some racists remarks.

CAN ANYBODY GET IT??? TALENT WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT AVAILABLE IN THE USA OR EUROPE SO THEY HAD TO LOOK ELSEWHERE. AND YOU ALL KNOW WHAT, THEY FOUND ONE AND HIS NAME IS ARNEL PINEDA. IN ANY CASE, WHY IS IT THAT EVERYONE IS SO NEGATIVE INSTEAD OF LOOKING AT THIS WHOLE THING AS SOMETHING POSITIVE AND GOOD. LET THIS GUY SING, LET JOURNEY DO WHAT IT WANTS TO DO AND THEN, ALL YOUR “EXPERT” OPINIONS CAN COME AFTER THEY RELEASE THEIR FIRST CD OR CONCERT. TILL THEN, SAVE YOUR SPIT AND QUIT THE NEGATIVE STUFF.

mr. inspector.. America being a great nation.. industrialized and economically well off.. also has prostutes, homeless, and starving children.
same as any other nation in the world.

Reading the inspector’s comments, I feel a lot of anger and hatred. It’s either some Filipina broke this idiot’s heart or he must have applied for Journey’s front man job and got the boot. And he had the audacity to post his “Inspector Profession” like anyone really cares. He just gave the entire world an idea about the kind of “inspector” that he really is….

haha isn’t it funny because i also have the same gut feeling that he was dissed by a gorgeous filipina! hahaha! or if not, maybe one of his relatives or friends were dissed by journey, as well! arnel was right, shit happens!! haha! poor “inspector”..he tried to talk like this smart ass but failed to impress us all! hey mr. “inspector”, you are no pro giving opinions ok so stick to what ur good at (if there is any cause you seemed like you have none! haha)! you may have rested your case, but i know you will be checking out these comments. you’ll never get what you want sickhead so rather you picking up shit from others, why dont you start picking up on yours cause they’re a million times as bad! it is a no-brainer that you need prozac if not divine intervention–mister “inspector”… *puke!*

There’s a number of “hate” comments thrown, but there is a barrage of nice comments thrown back too. Arnel Pineda will just prove to the word why he is now the new voice of Journey!

Journey had a great vocalist Steve Perry.
Journey has a great vocalist Arnel Pineda.

With a man like Bob, there are just too many to stories to tell and just too many ways to do it. Here’s a parcel of the article on the said site:

Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese is incredibly busy these days, finishing a Rolling Stones documentary titled Shine a Light due out in a few months and starting pre-production work on a thriller titled Shutter Island. Announced today is the addition of another documentary in Scorsese’s line-up, this one about legendary reggae musician Bob Marley. The currently untitled film has been authorized by Marley’s family and is aiming for release on February 6th, 2010, the same day as Marley’s would be 65th birthday. I only need one word to describe this: awesome!

Bob Marley’s oldest living son, Ziggy Marley, is a well-known reggae musician as well. Ziggy enthusiastically commented on the announcement, saying, “I am thrilled that the Marley family will finally have the opportunity to document our father’s legacy and are truly honored to have Mr. Scorsese guide the journey.” The same production team behind the Rolling Stones documentary Shine a Light will be again working with Scorsese on this documentary.

“Marley was a pioneer not only because he single-handedly brought reggae to the world, but because his passionate, socially observant music has become a yardstick against which all reggae will forever be measured.”

this article was based on an interview with NOEL CABANGON by JAILEEN F. JIMENO

What I loved about this article is that there was a line there or let say a paragraph that mentioned about the quality of the songs aired in radio stations. Don’t want to say this but maybe some artists might want to read this article and gauge your music from what is great, good, mediocre and baloney.

To qoute:

Conversely, we have a lot of young writers right now. That’s why today’s radio is dominated mostly by music by the young, for the young. Surveys show that most radio stations now play more Filipino than foreign music. This is helped mainly by the revival of old songs. New bands are singing songs by the Apo Hiking Society, almost three decades after these first hit the airwaves.

My only disappointment is that the airwaves are also littered with some songs that can be considered trash. There are songs that are mediocre, that do not merit being produced and listened to. The writing is faulty, the lines are weak. Some songs have melodies that can be improved. Good music involves poetry, lyrical metaphors, words that create images in the mind without much effort. There should be no room for trite lines. Good writing, good music, involves profound thought.

The current social condition has caused the creation of “noontime show” music as well. This does nothing but excite viewers while a TV contest is going on. Other than that, it has no meaning, serves no other purpose, and contains no value. To me, it’s music for people who have no jobs, who are attracted to the concept of winning fast cash, which is a reflection of poverty in our country. It also serves as our babysitting tool, mesmerizing our children for hours.

This post was once posted on another local site before named “NotQuiteIndie” or “NQI”. Just reposting it so that anyobdy who was not able to read it may get the chance to. Here’s the link to the article..

To quote:

Chaos. Anarchy. Rebellion. These are words that immediately come to mind as soon as the word “punk” is mentioned. Lester Bangs (whom most people credit for naming the genre) probably didn’t have The Sex Pistols in mind when he first used the term. In fact, in his very first published review for Rolling Stone, he used the term “punk” to refer to the MC5, a psychedelic band. In essence, he meant the lifestyle and not the music.

<o> </o>

But eventually, the name stuck. So we have all these bands from the 70’s and 80’s like the aforementioned Sex Pistols and The Clash. It was called “punk rock” and the rock gods said, “it is good”. I don’t know if it was all just a trend, but to capitalize on the ordinarily-derogatory term “punk” and assumed the lifestyle of… well… a punk. Screaming out profanity and stepping on authority, punk rock took over the airwaves.

<o> </o>

But here’s an interesting concept that people never, ever associate with punk rock – love.

<o> </o>

I’m not talking about crappy Newfound Glory and their covers of vomit-inducing tearjerkers like “My Heart Will Go On”.

Take the Ramones. The Ramones spelled out “youth” in bold letters everywhere they went. With songs like “Rock ‘n’ <st1 w:st="on"></st1><st1 w:st="on">Roll</st1> <st1 w:st="on">High School</st1>” and “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up”, the punk rock pioneers carved out a niche in which all frustrated teenagers across the world could seek refuge. And, of course, what’s adolescence without love? To address the issue, the Ramones came up with songs like “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” and “What I Like About You”, classics that hopeless romantics can relate to, without compromising, of course, the punk rock image.

And then, there was The Clash, perhaps the greatest punk band to have ever walked the earth in the sense that unlike other punk bands of the time who thrived on a dull, repetitive formula, they dared to be different (which, after all, is what punk rock is all about). The love song “Should I Stay or Should I Go” remains to be among their greatest hits.

I’ve been hearing hearsays that the ROCK station that everybody [not everybody.. most people I think!] so love and leech music from is going to shut down their operations 3 months from now.

There has not been any confirmation though but if this is true it will be heartbreaking for most of the people who has been listening to the station for years now [specially ME!]. Some online buddies are still confirming with their comrades close to the people working in the station whether or not the rumors are true.

I’m so gonna miss Trish, Sophie and Dylan’s voice [sighs deeply], so as Francis Brew and even Papa Domz with his reggae “show” every Thursday nights.

It’s a disheartening news for most of us but let us just hope for the best for the station that we so most LOVE!

I think I’m freakin’ in LOVE!. LOL! I just stumbled upon her videos in YouTube as I was lurking in a local online forum days back and voila! somebody gave a link to her videos and man I saw angels after seeing her face and hearing her sing [well her voice is second]

She has a cover of Rihanna’s infamous song Umbrella [yeah that funny sounding ela ela ela song!], Britney’s Gimme More [Marie Digby's Cover made Britney Sound like an Amateur and a stripper] and Linkin Park’s What I’ve done [this is one of the songs where he plays the keyboard instead of the guitar], and i tell you, this girl can SING, she’s even better at playing the guitars compared to my stiff fingers.

She normally records the videos at home so aside from hearing her sing you’ll get to see her sing in her living room, dining room and even her bedroom [ c'mon pervs! work your brains out!]. In her Umbrella Cover, watch closely at the start of the video [you might miss it!], notice her biting her guitar pick that made me drool all over my pants! [exaggerating!] See for yourself and of course thank me for introducing her to you [Paypal Donations accepted]

She’s HEAVEN SENT! I’ll spend half of my savings account just to be with her[LOL] . Well I’m seriously hooked into listening to her now matter how pop she may sound and how mushy her song could get, I know you’ll be hooked too..
